Independent cinema, performance, and narrative.

Bigoli Pictures works internationally across film, actor training, and story-driven production for brands, building on decades of combined experience across cinema, television, commercial work, and music video.

Our core team operates between Spain, the UK, and France, collaborating with artists, partners, and institutions across Europe and beyond. We build projects with a strong narrative voice, a deep respect for performance, and a focus on human-centred storytelling.

Film-first. Story-led. Human.

Bigoli began with cinema.

Our first feature film - Bigoli Bang - was made in Northern Italy on a shoestring budget, driven by determination, community support, and a belief that strong ideas matter more than scale. The cast was drawn largely from the local community rather than professional actors, and performances were developed through careful coaching, rehearsal, and on-set direction.

We went on to organise six self-produced, limited cinema screenings in Italy and Spain, testing the work directly with live audiences and building momentum independently.

Following those screenings, the film secured a streaming deal in Spain with Filmin, where it is currently available, alongside our own VOD release for the rest of the world.

That process — developing work, finding its audience, and carrying it through to distribution — continues to shape how we operate today.

Cinema remains at the heart of what we do. The same principles that drive our films — clarity, restraint, performance, and emotional truth — now guide our work across formats.

Performance as a foundation

Alongside film production, we run actor training and workshops through our physical studio space in Spain.

This work is not separate from our directing practice — it actively sharpens it. Training actors deepens our understanding of human behaviour, presence, and communication, and strengthens our people skills as directors. It demands clarity, trust, and responsibility, particularly when working with new actors who are often in a vulnerable or unfamiliar place.

That sensitivity carries directly into our work with non-actors, real people, and brand collaborators — helping us create performances and stories that feel grounded, credible, and human rather than overproduced or artificial.

Bigoli Studios

Bigoli Studios is our physical base in Spain.

It functions as a working film studio, actor training space, and casting environment — hosting workshops, rehearsals, development sessions, and productions. The studio is also available for selected hires and collaborative projects.

Bigoli Studios is where our creative ecosystem connects: filmmakers, actors, writers, and collaborators

working side by side in a practical, grounded environment.

Director-led storytelling for brands

When we collaborate with brands, institutions, or partners, we don’t start with formats or trends. We start with story, intention, and tone.

Our background in cinema and performance allows us to:

Direct real people with confidence and empathy.
Shape authentic performances on camera.
Build trust quickly on set.
Carry projects from concept through to audience.

We work selectively, applying the same authored, film-led approach to commissioned work that we bring

to our own cinema.

How we operate

Our work in Spain is produced through Bigoli Studios SL, our Spanish production company, allowing us to operate locally and access film incentives and grants.

All film intellectual property is held through Bigoli Pictures Ltd (UK).

This structure allows us to work flexibly across borders while maintaining creative and legal clarity.

Independent by design

Bigoli is intentionally small. We collaborate closely, stay hands-on, and remain directly involved in every stage of a project — from development to final delivery.

We believe strong work comes from clear direction, trust between collaborators, respect for craft, and a deep understanding of people.

Whether making films, training actors, or creating stories for brands, our aim is the same:
to make work that feels honest, considered, and human.

For brands and institutions, this means working with a team that understands narrative, performance, and how stories land with real audiences.
